How far in advance should I book?
It’s best to reach out at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for weekend or seasonal sessions. For weddings, booking several months ahead is recommended to secure your date.
How do I book a session?
Just head over to my Contact Page and fill out the form with a few details. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible to confirm availability and chat about your vision!
Do you travel for sessions?
Yes! I’m based in Christiansburg, Virginia, and regularly work in Blacksburg and Radford - but I’m always happy to travel, even out of state. Anything over 30 minutes from Christiansburg may include a small travel fee, which we’ll discuss ahead of time.
When will I receive my photos?
You’ll receive a fully edited online gallery within 2–3 weeks for most sessions. Weddings may take a bit longer - typically 4–6 weeks. I’ll always keep you updated!
Do you offer mini sessions year-round?
Mini sessions are seasonal and offered a few times throughout the year with special themes (like fall, holidays, or spring blooms!). Check my Facebook Page for current mini session offerings and availability.
How do I pay?
I accept Zelle, PayPal, Venmo and cash as payment methods. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
For regular sessions, the remaining 50% is due at the time of the session.
For weddings, the remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before the wedding day.
All payment details will be shared during the booking process to make everything simple and stress-free!
What if it rains or we need to reschedule?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate or something unexpected comes up, we can reschedule - as long as it falls within my rescheduling and cancellation policy. I totally understand that life happens, and I’ll do my best to work with you to find a new date that works for us both.

What should we wear?
I always recommend neutral tones or soft colors that coordinate nicely without being too matchy. Avoid loud patterns or big logos, and most importantly - wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable.
That said, you can absolutely wear whatever you want! This is just what most clients tend to prefer. If you have a unique vision or style, go for it - you know what makes you feel like you, and that always photographs best. I’m happy to offer guidance if you'd like!
Can I hire you as a second photographer?
Absolutely yes! I’d love to support another photographer or be part of a larger team.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling
You may reschedule your session once at no additional cost, as long as you provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
If rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice, a $50 rescheduling fee may apply to hold your new date.
Weather-related reschedules are always allowed with no penalty—we’ll work together to find a new date that works for both of us.
Cancellations
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This helps cover the time spent planning and holds your date exclusively.
Sessions:
- If you cancel more than 7 days before your session, no additional fees will apply.
- Cancellations within 7 days will result in loss of your deposit and may be subject to an additional cancellation fee.
- No-shows will be charged the full session rate.
Weddings & Events:
- Due to the time commitment involved, weddings must be canceled or rescheduled at least 30 days in advance.
- Deposits remain non-refundable, and final payment is due 48 hours before the wedding.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
